It’s almost Halloween, and we still have a couple of days to crochet some Candy Cornflowers! The idea for these flowers came straight from my childhood, when candy corn was practically a food group at Halloween. It’s called corn, so it must be...

I designed, crocheted, wrote patterns, and took step-by-step pictures of a bunch of flowery bookmarks. Most of the ones in the picture made it into a kit published by Quarto.

The Town ‘n Country Quilt Guild of Stephenville, T The Town ‘n Country Quilt Guild of Stephenville, TX, close at 4 PM today. There’s time, if you live close by, to visit all the quilts and the Country Store, where you can find lots of previously loved items for sale. There was a pretty good stack of doilies yesterday, priced to move. Somebody bought a couple or three, and I don’t know what happened after that. Maybe there are some left.

I put the bookcase back in my bedroom and loaded the books back on the lower shelves. The poor tissue box sits on the floor now, because I am not going to put anything on top of that mosaic, if I can help it! Thank you, Ella and Wren!❤️❤️
