by Suzann Thompson | Jul 13, 2008 | Crochet, Crochet Bouquet, Life, Quilting and Crafting, Retro Blog Post, TextileFusion

by Suzann Thompson | Jul 5, 2008 | Crochet, Crochet Bouquet, Crochet Charm Lace, Retro Blog Post, TextileFusion

by Suzann Thompson | Jun 30, 2008 | Crochet, Crochet Bouquet, Retro Blog Post, TextileFusion

Eighty leaves. That’s about how many my Roses Cape will need. Just thinking of crocheting eighty leaves made my shoulders droop. When I broke the job down to four leaves a day for 20 days, it didn’t seem so bad. And now, I’m over half-way through!...

A year ago I was breathing a bunch of sighs of rel A year ago I was breathing a bunch of sighs of relief, because I had finished an intense crochet design project. I designed, crocheted, wrote patterns, and took step-by-step pictures of a bunch of flowery bookmarks. Most of the ones in the picture made it into a kit published by Quarto.

The Town ‘n Country Quilt Guild of Stephenville, T The Town ‘n Country Quilt Guild of Stephenville, TX, close at 4 PM today. There’s time, if you live close by, to visit all the quilts and the Country Store, where you can find lots of previously loved items for sale. There was a pretty good stack of doilies yesterday, priced to move. Somebody bought a couple or three, and I don’t know what happened after that. Maybe there are some left.

I put the bookcase back in my bedroom and loaded the books back on the lower shelves. The poor tissue box sits on the floor now, because I am not going to put anything on top of that mosaic, if I can help it! Thank you, Ella and Wren!❤️❤️
